Romance Interviews

We're looking for ordinary couples who've experienced romance worth sharing, and your story may be exactly what's needed to encourage someone else who's struggling. And in addition to people watching from around the world, your children and grandchildren will be able to watch your Maximum Romance interview for generations to come. Or if you're a widow, widower, or divorcee with an encouraging or poignant romantic story to tell, we want those too!

Purpose: Testimonials that may help romantic couples strengthen their love for each other, by inspiring them or helping them avoid problems.

Expectations

You'll know the questions ahead of time, which are listed below, and you don't have to answer every one.
You set a date and time for the interview, and we'll accept if we can.
If you can't keep the appointment, we can reschedule.
If you change your mind, we can cancel the appointment.
The interview will be conducted via a Zoom video call.
We'll start by taking a few minutes to chat and make sure the call quality is adequate.
We estimate about 30 minutes for the interview.
The length of final edited interview will be 5-8 minutes, plus a short intro & closing.
Retakes are likely: If you or the host flubs a statement, we'll just take a moment to get ready and repeat, and the flubs will be edited out.
When asked a question, feel free to take as much time as you wish to think before giving your answer. We can easily edit out long pauses.
If you have a story to share but want to retain complete privacy, we can use pseudonyms, your location can be kept private, your faces can be blurred, and your voices can be disguised.

Preferred Technical

Host(s) & guests each have a computer or other device for a Zoom call, which will be recorded on the host side.
Host and guest sides will each have second video/audio camera with full-HD (1980x1080) resolution, recording from a 30–45-degree angle compared to the zoom camera/microphone directly in front of you.
After the interview, guests will upload their 2nd video to a Maximum Romance file-sharing account.

Each Person: Name, occupations, where you're originally from, something interesting about yourself
6-12 photos and/or video clips of the two of you together, spanning the whole time of your relationship
If married, how long have you been married?
If you have children, how many?

Interview

What first attracted you to each other? (each answer)
What's something you learned about the other that really surprised you? (each answer)
What's the most entertaining, unusual, and/or biggest hardship you overcame together? (answer together)
Pick two or three Facets of Romance from our What is Romance? page, and tell how it's been important in your relationship. (answer separately or together)
What are your favorite Romance Highlights? (1 or 2 each of your favorite romantic memories)
How have you celebrated your romance so far? What are your future celebration plans? (answer together)
How has your romance made your life better? (each answer)
Open Question: Is there anything else you'd like to say you think might be interesting or encouraging to viewers? (either or both answer)
